All-time great Liz Craven can be laughed at as she has a lock on the 53kg WRs. The clock is ticking and most of the Masters records are coming in now, but there are still no Open challengers in sight for Liz.

Febrose Tsiode is a BP phenomenon but Jess Sewastenko is clear in Deadlift and Total.

Jess moved on to Weightlifting and 2021 is an open book for this class.

The Standards are elusive, but 2019 World Champion Tara Gripton was the closest at 448kg that year, but quiet since then.

Beware that the unknown Schae Zarew will surprise in 2021.

The New Zealand phenoms have invaded all but Mrs Standard’s BP and that will be gone soon.

533 kg in total is one of the great performances of all time.

Standards are standards for a reason and 535kg is tough.

However, Yani Zhao is on a comeback trail and at least the Squat WR is sure to drop in 2020.

Jewel Tasi squatted 220kg last year, but look out for Nolene Kingi (Aus) to go ahead and Deadlift in 2021.

Riria Ropata is the new force in the great Women’s category.

A 2019 world title was followed by multiple Deadlift and Bench records, with the Squat record under serious threat in 2021.
