The 2022 Ford F-750 is offered with a choice between two new major engine types.

The first is a 7.3-liter V8 petrol engine with 350 horsepower and 468 lb-ft of torque.

The second main option, and the first of three diesel options, is a 6.7-liter Power Stroke V8 diesel with 270 horsepower and 700 lb-ft of torque.

Is a CDL required for the Ford F-750?

A commercial driver’s license, or CDL, is required to legally drive any vehicle over 26,000 pounds.

Well, it just so happens that the largest Ford pickup in its lightest form weighs 20,000 pounds and can weigh up to 26,000 pounds.

As long as the weight stays at or below that 26,000 lb mark, no CDL is required and licensed drivers can buy and drive the largest Ford pickup truck ever made.

Ford starts at $57,620 and goes up to $72,325.

Given that this is the largest Ford pickup truck ever made, that seems like a pretty reasonable deal.
