After a long wait, A Day To Remember have officially released their new album, You’re Welcome.
On the new album is what frontman Jeremy McKinnon called “one of the heaviest songs” of the band’s career, called “Last Chance To Dance (Bad Friend).” The track is the fourth song on the album and McKinnon has said it is the one he is most “excited about”.
Guitarist Neil Westfall has previously explained that the song is “heavier” than their Common Courtesy track “Violence (Enough Is Enough).”
Listen to the heavy new track below.
Upon first listen of the song, it’s one of the heavier tracks on the album and definitely delivers heavy guitar riffs, a breakdown and some impressive deep vocals from McKinnon.
While chatting with fans about their new song “Mindreader,” A Day To Remember revealed the name of what they say is the “Heaviest Song” off their upcoming new record, You’re Welcome.
In an earlier interview with RockSound, McKinnon teased that the album is almost done and will feature “one of the heaviest songs” of the band’s career so far and that he’s “excited about it.” Now on Wednesday (April 15) frontman Jeremy Mckinnon has revealed that the song is called “Last Chance To Dance (Best Friend)” and will be unleashed on their new album.
A fan on Twitter asked the band if this new song “Last Chance To Dance (Best Friend)” is heavier than their song “Violence (Enough Is Enough)” and Neil Westfall replied by saying “Yes”.
Westfall also explained that although “Mindreader” was a more upbeat, non-heavy song, there is a song for every fan on this upcoming new record across the board in different genres.
A Day To Remember today released their new single “Mindreader” with an animated music video, which you can watch HERE.
