After a group of doctors purchased a modified truck from Sparks Motors, tests confirmed that the vehicle produced 36 and 21 times the pollutants and particulates compared to the stock truck.
To ensure compliance, Sparks stated that it intended the modification to be for off-road use only and in the belief that it was legal and in compliance with the Environmental Protection Agency.
