Powerlifter Jimmy Kolb set a new world record in the event after capturing the heaviest bench press
He benched 1,120-pounds (508 kilograms) while wearing a one-ply suit and took gold in the 140kg weight class of the Bench Press-only competition
Jimmy Kolb competed in January at an event in Bellmawr, New Jersey where he benched 1,050 pounds (4762 kilograms)
And in March, he raised his bench weight to 1,0803 pounds in another event
So it’s not completely done and it looks like he’s on his way to breaking the world record
