Similar to Animal’s Hunting n Far Cry 5 there are few fishes you can hunt to get some money.

All fishing locations for hunting
Fishing and Hunting unlock if you had played for a few hours from the start of the game.
You get a massive map unlocked divided into different regions.
Each region has different locations where you can hunt animals and fish.
Fishing is done by fishing rods, some can be bought or simply found in the game.
These rods have bait that determines what fish you get.
You can sell the fish to any vendor in the game and get some money that can be used for upgrades later.
There is a challenge section in the game, where you will see fishing challenges.
Like catching four fish of a specific type.
When you complete the challenge, you earn a perk point.
Unlock Fisher King Perk, it will cost four perk points.
This will offer you a new type of fly for heavier fish, also allowing you to catch faster.
You can find Basic Fishing Rod in any marked fishing location in Far Cry 5, so you don’t have to worry much about this.
You will find them at Dylan’s Master Bait Shop in the Whitetail Mountain region.
The last rod you can look for is Old Betsy Rod, it will help you catch difficult fish.
To get this rod is not easy, you have to beat every regional fishing record.

John’s Region Fishing Locations (Fisher King Perk Unlocked) – HOLLAND VALLEY
You can find the fishing record board in Fall’s End Bar. Kokanee Salmon Location: Bait – Salmon Egg.
Bull Trout Location: Bait – Trout Bugger.
There is a river that runs through Rae Rae’s pumpkin farm, to the south side.
There is a bend where on the edge you can find the spot to catch Bull Trout.
Rainbow Trout Location: Bait – Trout Bugger.
Just to the right of Rae Rae’s pumpkin farm, there is a bridge over the river, you will spot the fish under it.
Pallid Sturgeon Location: Bait – Hybrid Sturgeon.
You have to go to the south of Lamb of God Church, a little further you come to a dirt road that connects to the main road.
The fishing spot is at the end of the mud road.
Paddlefish Sturgeon Location: Bait – Hybrid Sturgeon.
For this fish you have to look at Rye & Sons Aviation, at the bottom left corner there is an edge where the card ends.
Fishing Locations in Jacob’s Region (Unlock Fisher King Perk) – WHITETAIL MOUNTAINS

This fish can be found on the west side of F.A.N.G center, go extreme west to spot a lake.

Artic Grayling Salmon Location: Bait – Salmon Egg.
You need to travel more to the left of the above location to fish the Artic Grayling Salmon.
There is a small lake at the far end where the map disappears.
Golden Trout Location: Bait – Trout Bugger.
Go to the right of F.A.N.G Center until you reach a lake with a house on the side.
You will have to cross the road for that.
Lake Trout Location: Bait – Trout Bugger.
A little before Fort Drubman, the place where you got the above fish, you will reach an edge of the river.
There are around the road and bridge on the left.
Chinook Salmon Location: Bait – Salmon Egg.
The location to catch this fish is near the F.A.N.G center, you need to walk straight north and look for an intersection.
Follow the straight line from that crossroads of the road, after crossing the forest you will come to a river.

You can play this fishing record in Hope County Jail.
Rock Bass Location: Bait – Bass Popper.
There is a river near Hope County Jail, you should take the west direction.
A little further to the boating area you will find the region to catch this fish.
Smallmouth Bass Location: Bait – Bass Popper.
The place is not easy to find, but at the far end where the map disappears you will see the fishing place.
Largemouth Bass Location: Bait – Bass Popper.
Now you have to go a little to the north side of where you found Smallmouth Bass, you will come to a point where the river divides into two parts.
That is where you can hunt for Largemouth Bass fish.
