Born on March 2, 1968, Daniel Craig’s mother was an art teacher and his father was a steel fitter
After years of honing his craft, his breakthrough role came in the form of a successful BBC drama series called Our Friends in the North
But it was his roles in Lara Croft: Tomb Raider and Road to Perdition that gave Craig his international fame, which in turn would put him on the path to becoming James Bond

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, casting director Debbie McWilliams discussed the loud reaction to Craig’s casting
